Frequently Asked Questions about the Pocologan Festival
Wondering something about Pocologan? This is the place! We will be updating this page on an ongoing basis. Do you have a question that isn't on this list? Ask us on Facebook!
Is Pocologan 2020 cancelled due to COVID-19 isolation measures?
Pocologan 2020 is rescheduled to 2021. The health and safety of our festival friends and family comes before anything else. Like you, we're absolutely torn up about Festival Season 2020. Nothing can stop the summer from coming, though, so hopefully we'll see some of you on the lakes, on the trails, and maybe at some small shows once it's safe to gather.

Is camping included in my Pocologan 2021 ticket?
Yes! Your ticket purchase includes access to basic camping. Options to add RV camping and Park n Camp at a cost will be made available closer to the event.
What is camping like at Pocologan 2021?
The basic camping option included in your ticket purchase gives you the option to camp wherever you like in the designated camping areas. There are no camp "sites" like a traditional camp ground. There's a field, forest, and lakeside for you to scope out your very own cozy spot. You will likely have neighbours close by. What a great chance to make new friends! Do you want more privacy? RV camping and other upgraded camping options will be for sale closer to the event.
What's the bathroom situation at Pocologan 2021?
We love porta potties! Seriously, they're way more sanitary than your run-of-the-mill campground bathroom facility. They get cleaned more often and they're better ventilated. Fun fact: porta potties are designed not to stink. This system fails when dummies don't put the seat down. PUT THE SEAT DOWN and those bad boys will smell just like the great outdoors!
Is this a family friendly event? (ie. can I bring my kids?)
Please don't bring children to the Pocologan Festival. We're very proud of the safe and friendly culture that we've fostered, but Pocologan is a 19+ event. There will be drinking and general carrying on and wildness that make for a fun time for grown-ups.
Will there be food at Pocologan 2021?
Yes! There will be food for sale at Pocologan. Expect a variety of options! With that in mind, we strongly encourage you to bring snacks. You'll be doing a lot of walking and food vendors need to sleep, too (by that we mean you might not be able to get food at 4:30AM). We want you to be healthy and happy, so pack your cooler full of all of the calories and vitamins and hydration and yummyness that you need!
Will there be free water to drink at Pocologan 2021?
Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times YES! Water is the lifeblood of every good time that was ever had. Bring a refillable water bottle (or three) and fill it up at the water station(s) provided. (Are you a nerd about hydration? Join the Hydro Homies community on Reddit).
Will there be medical staff at Pocologan 2021?
Yep! There will be several very experienced first aid trained personnel on the site at all times. If you have a medical condition, we encourage you to locate the medical staff when you arrive and inform them of any unique needs.
What kind of music will there be at Pocologan 2021?
The main genres to expect are funk, pop, indie rock, alternative rock, and electronic. At the end of the day, it's whatever the Kelehers are into this year. Check out the lineup from 2019 for a bit more info. As the 2020 lineup is released, we encourage you to check out the Soundcloud/Spotify/Bandcamp pages for the artists.
